Brand & Marketing typography

(Examples include: Marketing websites, printed collateral, advertising, etc.)

We use our primary font, Open Sans, for almost everything brand and marketing related. Open Sans was designed with an upright stress, open forms and a neutral, yet friendly appearance. It was optimized for print, web, and mobile interfaces, and has excellent legibility characteristics in its letterforms.

See Marketing typography for detailed usage guidelines.

Product properties

(Example: DigitalClone platform)

We use typography that is avaible though Google Fonts for all in-product experiences. Google Fonts ensures that our UI run faster by safely caching fonts without compromising users’ privacy or security.

We use our primary font, Open Sans, for all header tags (Ex. H1, H2, H3, etc.).

The scondary font, Source Sans Pro, is then used for all paragraph (ex. p) text within the product. Source Sans Pro is a sans serif typeface intended to work well in user interfaces.

See Product Typography for detailed usage guidelines.

Third party services and portals

(Example: Zendesk - product support portal)

Sentient Science relies on third-party services to provide content and information to product users. Most information in most third-party portals and services should maintain their native styling. This means that we should not override most of the default elements styles or layouts. However, there are several Sentient Science brand assets that can be used to imply authorship, endorsement, or affiliation with a given service.
