Filtering

Filters use checkboxes that allow people to select a number of options. This includes no options, a single option or multiple. Each checkbox is independent of all other checkboxes in the list, and checking one box doesn't uncheck the others. Checkboxes react instantly, meaning no other action is needed to see the filtering update.

Usage

These filters are used with tables or cards to help a user display only the items they care about. Filter containers are open by default but collapsable when clicked on the carrot icon.

Placement

Filters are located in the main content area on the left hand side. If there is more prominent information (ex. Asset Summary) filters will display underneath that element.
